MMA adhesives are reaction adhesives based on esters of methacryl acid. The curing of the reactive systems takes place on the principle of radical chain polymerisation. With the quick hardening MMA adhesives, sheer strengths in excess of 30 Mpa are achievable before ageing. In many cases, functional rigidity of 5 Mpa can be achieved after only 5 minutes. |
